This hands-on workshop draws on the latest thinking on learning design. In order to determine a workable way forward to design our courses, we will start by examining a number of current methodologies including that which is currently used at OUT. A series of practical activities guided by the 7Cs of Learning Design Toolkit will be undertaken in small groups, which will enable us to reflect on our current learning design project. The workshop will help us to develop a balanced variety of teaching activities to address the wide range of expectations of adult learners in the 21st century, and to reuse Open Educational Resources (OER) where appropriate.
