South African Institute for Distance Education

This course is the Moodle version of the Facilitating Online course developed at the Centre for Educational Technology, UCT, by Tony Carr. 

Facilitating Online was developed by the Centre for Innovation in Learning and Teaching (CILT) at the University of Cape Town. The course is funded by the Carnegie Corporation of New York as part of its support for the e/merge Africa network. The Vula CILT UCT course is convened by Tony Carr and Nicola Pallitt and co-facilitated by facilitators from across Africa.

This is the revised version of the Saide FOLC 2014 course.

The 2014 course was a remix of 2 existing OERs:

1. A shortened Moodle version of the Facilitating Online course developed at the Centre for educational Technology, UCT, by Tony Carr.

2. The Moodle version of the Saide Supporting Distance Learners course.
